On the background of the increasing number of cyber-bullying, the need to raise awareness about digital footprints, the loss of control over personal informational data, of fake news and a raising number of young people dealing with online addiction our project aims to adress these problems with four modules to expand the knowledge of students and their school communities in the partner schools in Germany, Bulgaria and Turkey.
Our project is characterized by the main focus on developing and expanding social and civil society capacities. Media skills and critical thinking are main aspects of our project and our aim is to combat discrimination and exclusion as well as bullying and violence in general. To show how one could find a healthy level for digital content consumption is another aim of this project.
Around a hundered students who are between 15 to 19 years old will participate during the two year project. The whole school community will profit from this project because appropriate anti-bullying programs shall be refined for the participating schools. There will be six mobility opportunities for pupils and staff to collate the following results and products:
- Flyer in the respective language: „Guide for students – how to deal with cyber bullying“
- Summary of the most important legal bases, dissemination digital and in paper
- Guideline on how to implement an anti bullying workshop
- Performance of short plays about exclusion
- Differentiated learning material of the four modules
- Dance workshop for nonverbal empowerment of the students with language deficits (especially the ones who are newly arrived in Germany)
